The Tin Men was started in 1983 by Boo Kinsey the year after moving to Camden County, GA. The
business started out as a vinyl siding and screen room business that was operating as a part time
business as I was a Millwright for Gilman Paper Company. Gilman Paper Company was sold to Durango
Georgia Paper Company and went out of business in 2002. I took on a partner, David Earl Strickland who
was a maintenance supervisor at the mill and is a lifelong resident of Camden County. With David Earl’s
many years of experience in maintenance and construction, he has been invaluable to the success of The
Tin Men. David Earl and I love and support our community and have dedicated ourselves to providing the
BEST products and service available in the market today. We incorporated the company in 2002 and
expanded our services to include Pool Enclosures. The Tin Men became the first company in this area to
offer this service to our customers and have worked hard to gain the trust of many of the local
contractors and the private home-owners in our area. David Earl and I are dedicated to you, the customer
and promise to do a job for you that you can be proud of for years to come. The Tin Men are licensed and
insured and proud members of The Camden County Chamber of Commerce and The Better Business
Bureau.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
There are a lot of fly by nights that are not licensed or insured and work out of their homes. If something
happens to someone working on your house you could be held responsible. DON’T BE FOOLED by
swimming pool contractors who insist that you use their enclosure company. Swimming pool companies
are just that pool builders. They are not enclosure installers and make money off you by using their
enclosure companies who come from outside Camden County. The Tin Men are not in the swimming pool
business however we can help you find a pool builder from our area and will never make money off the

operated and our business is easy to find. Once you give your money to an outside contractor and they
take that money out of state, good luck in having them come back to fix any problems you may encounter.
